We helped to bring the Walled Garden in Lambeth’s Brockwell Park back to its former self by removing unwanted plants, weed spraying and plant transplantation. All in preparation for future planting.

‘To me the Walled Garden is the heart of Brockwell Park. The Walled Garden has recently gone through a transformation through Heritage Lottery Funding. I was given Streetscape’s name by a colleague, who said that Streetscape were good at horticulture and caring in their profession. Also, I liked the idea of taking on the local trainees that Streetscape works with and would all get an NVQ in horticulture at the end of one year.

The concept was to remove pernicious weeds by forking through, removing old and diseased shrubs and plants, leaving several specimen shrubs to be incorporated in future planting. This was successfully managed by myself and Streetscape throughout the summer. Streetscape have been dedicated towards this project, helping the garden to develop as a natural state. They have done a magnificent job and can be relied on to give their best. They are a caring company and this shows in their work. I would thoroughly recommend Streetscape to anyone.’
