Streetscape’s Partners

We like a bit of competition – it keeps us on our toes! – but, as a social enterprise, partnership at all levels is hugely important to us, creating virtuous circles that enable us to provide the highest standard of apprenticeships and landscaping. Take a read of our 2012-13 or 2013-14 Annual Report for Donors for more information on how these partnerships help us grow lives.  You can find out more about partnering with Streetscape through the Support Us pages.

Myatt’s Fields Park, LB Lambeth

Streetscape is based at Myatt’s Fields Park in LB Lambeth, where we have a classroom and office space, help with park improvement works and carry out more intensive practical landscape/horticultural training. It is a hugely beneficial partnership, helping to create an exciting virtuous cycle: our apprentices – young people from the local area who were previously out of work – helping with the upkeep of the park for the local community, all the while providing role models to, and raising our profile among, young people and others in the area.

‘As manager of Myatt’s Fields Park I am very pleased that Streetscape are using our facilities and gardens for training purposes. Streetscape have developed a great programme that helps local young people to get out of worklessness and we are proud to be part of it. We believe that Streetscape will spread the interest in horticulture amongst the young local community. We hope that Streetscape will grow, and their growth will help to make Myatt’s Fields Park a recognised training centre in horticulture.’

Kasia Olszewska, Myatt’s Fields Park Manager

Paragon Software Systems plc

Paragon have been sponsors of Streetscape since the pilot project in 2010, donating funds for both of our Ford Transit vans and towards Cheyenne’s apprenticeship placement in 2014. They have also helped to develop Streetscape by acting as mentors to James and Guy. Paragon develop and implement routing and scheduling software solutions and fleet management systems.

“We remain committed to helping Streetscape achieve what it sets out to do. These are challenging economic times and the Streetscape team is working hard to help unemployed young people find their true potential. The new van will undoubtedly help the organisation with the practicalities of getting out and about to do the work and we are really pleased to have been able to purchase it for them’
